The firm has also represented its clients in a broad spectrum of complex commercial litigation, including deal litigation, securities litigation and intellectual property litigation. Examples of notable past representations for Jeff include a highly-publicized false advertising trial between two leaders in the hot dog industry in 2012 and the defense of two Oppenheimer mutual funds in a number of class action securities cases arising from financial losses during the credit crisis.
Jeff graduated cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was on the Dean’s List all three years and served as an editor on the Law and Policy in International Business Journal. He received his undergraduate degree with magna cum laude honors from the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he double-majored in Business Management and Marketing and played for the Wisconsin Badgers basketball team.
Jeff belongs to the American Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association, and is active in his community, serving as a Director on several charitable organizations.
